Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi is not just a beautiful and majestic building, it is also a functioning presidential palace, where the country's leaders receive leading world figures with characteristic Arab hospitality. By visiting this palace, you will learn more about the history and culture of the Emirates, about diplomatic relations, as well as about the values that formed the basis of the foreign policy of the UAE.
Qasr al-Watan is built of white granite and limestone, which is why it is also known as the "white palace", stands out for its luxury and scale. Even from afar, a huge snow-white dome with a diameter of 37 meters is striking, and the ceiling in the main hall is decorated with a chandelier made of 350,000 crystals. The palace is divided into several exhibitions and halls: "House of Knowledge", a library with a fund of more than 50,000 books, "Spirit of Collaboration", a meeting room of the UAE Cabinet, The Presidential Banquet and an exhibition of gifts to the President of the UAE from leaders of other countries of the world.
Daily from 11:30 am till 6:30 pm. Kindly note that the closing time above is the last entry time to the Palace. Opening hours are subject to change, please keep an eye for updates. The Palace in Motion show time begins at 8:00 pm. The show can be cancelled without advance information.
