In the open sea, in the pool or from the beach
Diving is not the most popular entertainment in the UAE as the underwater world here is not very diverse in comparison with the Red Sea, for example. However, there is a spot which has colourful fish and coral reefs - Fujairah. The emirate of Fujairah is situated at the shore of the Gulf of Oman in the Indian Ocean. There are no strong currents and deep waters. There are underwater rocks, coral reefs and a few attractive diving sites with sunk ships.
You can combine diving experience and a beach holiday at the shore of the Indian Ocean if you go on a tour to Fujairah with transfers from different emirates. Scuba diving in the warm waters of the Gulf of Oman is suitable for beginners and divers with little experience because the coral reefs grow not at big depth. Here divers can also come across sea turtles, colorful Nemo fish, rays, murenas, lionfish, and clownfish.
Visibility underwater in the Indian Ocean depends on weather conditions, and we usually dive near Snoopy Island, Sharm Rock, or Dibba Rock in Fujairah. Diving takes place from the boat in small groups, up to 10 people. The duration of each dive depends on the diver's skills and oxygen usage, typically lasting up to 30 minutes on average.
Diving in the deepest pool Deep Dive Dubai is available all year round, and no weather can spoil your diving experience. It will be an exciting adventure, where you can find installations of a sunken city at the bottom of the pool, reaching a depth of 60 meters. The underwater excursion will take place at a depth suitable for you (depending on your skills) and will be guided by a professional instructor.
If you live in Dubai near the Atlantis hotel, you can go diving at Palm Jumeirah Beach. There will be two shore dives accompanied by a professional instructor. This diving experience is perfect for beginners, especially for their very first dive.
You can cancel your booking for free, not less than 24 hours before the beginning of the trip.
