Wonder Bus Tour Dubai Creek

Let’s travel around Dubai by Amphibious Bus

Dubai Creek is the main through-passage of the city. Ships from Africa, India and Oman came this way to sell their goods and buy local ones. The canal played an important role in the history and development of trading relationships. Nowadays you can see here a lot of boats functioning as water transport, and tourist cruise ships.

A cruise by an amphibious bus is a unique opportunity to have a ride in the canal and on land. The passengers get on the bus at the Burjuman - a big shopping centre. Then we are going to Dubai Creek Pier and sail off to the calm waters of the Creek canal. You will be offered refreshing drinks on board. 1-hour sea cruise is ahead!

What is an amphibious bus? This is a kind of transport which can travel in water and on land. The bus is constructed in that way that it can easily drive into the water and the passengers feel absolutely comfortable at that moment. Enjoy your trip!

The picturesque sea branch which divides the city into two parts - Deira in the east and Bur Dubai in the west, is full of tourist attractions. We are going to see the following during our trip by amphibious bus:

Al Maktoum Bridge

This the oldest arch bridge in the city which connects Deira and Bur Dubai. It has an artificial island in the middle and an underground which passes inside the bridge. Despite the fact that it is not very long - 37 m, it is equipped with a built in mechanism for letting in big ships.

Business Bay Bridge

It has been functioning since 2007. It has six lanes and three pedestrian ways. The bridge successfully completes the architectural ensemble of the Dubai business district. The length of this masterpiece is 1.6 km.

Al Garhoud Bridge

A new bridge of 14 lanes symbolizes the city’s progress and is considered to be a greatest engineering wonder.

Old market

On our way, we are going to see an old street market - Old Souk. They sell dates, dried shrimps, spices, sweets, national plates and dishes and other interesting souvenirs here.

Coffee Museum

The Coffee Museum is worth paying attention to. The collection old coffee makers are presented here. The eastern people are in love with coffee. What about you?

Ras Al Khor

One more wonderful sight you are going to see is Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a kind of lagoon nature reserve inside the city which attracts a lot of migrant birds {including pink flamingo) with its favourable conditions. This is a unique phenomenon as the lagoon is situated in the middle of the megalopolis.
